JOB DESCRIPTION
A vacancy exists for a Pharmaceutical Sales Representative to service the national market. The position reports to the Sales and Marketing Manager – Pharmaceutical and Critical Care and is Harare based.
Position responsibilities include: –
- Detailing and selling of products to medical doctors and other medical professionals
- Conducting direct selling to pharmaceutical wholesalers
- Competing for national tenders
- Conducting product support and training of pharmacy, wholesale and clinical staff, including students
- Carrying out promotional activities
- Market intelligence gathering
- Active participation in product and market development
Suitable candidates should have the following qualifications and attributes:
- Good 5‘O’Level passes. ‘A’Level passes would be an advantage
- Diploma/Degree in General Nursing, or Diploma in Pharmacy; or a Commercial Degree plus a health care related qualification
- 5 years post qualification hands on experience
- Possession of a Sales/Marketing qualification or significant progress towards attaining that qualification would be a distinct advantage.
- Clean Class 4 driver’s licence
