JOB DESCRIPTION
We are looking for an experienced Sales Representative to join our Sales department.
Job Type: Contract
Grade: C2
MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES
- Performs telephone sales calls, including research on existing and potential customers.
- Prepares weekly reports detailing tonnage of products sold.
- Acts as liaison between customer and the company.
- Performs administrative duties, quotes prices and credit terms and prepares sales contracts.
- Monitors opposition activities and gives detailed price comparison quotes.
- Handles customer’s complaints by taking corrective action and giving advice.
- Keep abreast of best practices and promotional trends
- Continuously improve through feedback
QUALIFICATIONS
- A degree/diploma in Sales/Marketing or related qualification.
- 5 O’ Level passes including English Language and Maths.
- At least 3 years’ relevant experience.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills
- Must be computer literate with knowledge of Pastel and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Sound analytical, problem solving, report writing and customer service skills.
EXPERIENCE:
- At least 2 years working experience in an FMCG environment.
- 25 years and above.
