JOB DESCRIPTION

We are hiring Sales Officers.

Qualifications

• Experience, knowledge and an understanding of the sales processes and dynamics.
• A diploma/degree in sales & marketing, supply chain or any other related field is an added advantage.
• A clean class 2/4 drivers license is a must.

Duties and responsibilities

• Generating leads and soliciting orders from customers in person or by cold calling and prospecting.
• Identifying and creating opportunities for new business within the market.
• Demonstrates use and benefit of product supplies to clients and convincing them to buy merchandise/goods or to otherwise change their minds or actions.
• Following up on and managing the needs of new/existing/prospects clients.
• Recommends changes in customer use of old products to improve production
• Prepares reports of business transactions and ensuring all administration relating to sales is completed effectively.
• Informs customer of estimated delivery schedule, service contracts, warranty, or other information pertaining to purchased products.
• Setting up in person meetings and presentations to discuss requirements, budgets etc.
• Providing full support to the Business Development Manager to achieve company targets and working to achieve KPI’s and revenue targets as set by the company.
• Paying attention to competitors and their activities within the industry for strategic purposes.
• Building long term relationships with new and existing customers (Customer Relationship Management) and compiling lists of prospective customers for use as sales leads.
• Developing and delivering product demonstrations, sales bids and presentations to channel partners/distributors.
• Co-operating with other departments in the company and finding opportunities to cross sell and up sell.
