Job Summary

Pelcravia Enterprises P/L t/a Star International a Company in the Transport and Logistics Sector seeks suitably qualified and experienced candidates to fill the following vacancy which have arisen within our organization:
1. Sales and Marketing Officer x1

Duties And Responsibilities

 In charge of business development locally and internationally looking for clients that might be interest in moving loads from point A to B
 Carry out market research and identify possible markets suitable for the organization.
 Approach potential customers physically, digitally, or via the telephone offering them our services.
 Manage the proactive customer care processes
 Provide sales quotes on new business enquires on a day-to-day basis.
 Follow up on issued quotes until orders are obtained.
 Follow up with operations daily on obtained business to ensure that customer timelines are being met.
 In case of load delays keep the clients well informed before complaints.
 Prepare weekly sales report by Monday of the following week.
 Prepare the Monthly sales report by the 5th of the following month.

Qualifications And Experience

 Degree in Marketing.
 A minimum of 3 years of experience in the transport and logistics industry is a prerequisite.
 Proficient with digital marketing
 Proficiency in Ms Excel is required.
