Sales & Guest Relations Officer- Montclair Hotel And Casino

Job Summary

Responsible for generating the maximum possible amount of profitable sales through the achievement of sales targets and creation and maintenance of sustainable customer relations. He/she is also responsible for ensuring and providing exceptional and professional guest service experiences.

Duties And Responsibilities

• Receiving bookings from customers and prepare and send quotations as requested.
• Following up on all quotations sent out and deal with them conclusively.
• Identifies and exploit new sales opportunities with existing and potential customers.
• Conducts physical sales calls and tele-sales to new and existing customers.
• Responding to telephone and in-person inquiries regarding reservations, hotel information and guest concerns.
• Monitoring daily bookings and ensure assigned rooms are prepared prior to check-in.
• Overseeing check-in and check-out procedures, including reservations and financial transactions.
• Liaising with housekeeping staff to ensure all rooms are clean, tidy and fully-furnished to accommodate guests’ needs before check-in.
• Collecting Guest feedback during guest stay and departure along with their likes and dislikes.
• Coordinating and managing communication between guests and staff and follow up to ensure customer concerns are resolved promptly.
• Liaising with service departments in order to ensure that guests are provided with an overall comfortable experience.
• Analyzing customer feedback from hotel guest feedback sheets and online reviews and suggest ways to improve ratings
• Providing information to guests about the Hotel & Casino services including breakfast and dining options.
• Recommending local tourist spots including shops and sight-seeing.
• Promoting all hotel amenities, conveniences and activities offered.
• Performing Front Office cashier activities as and when required.
• Carrying out any other duties as delegated by Superior.

Qualifications And Experience

• Degree or HND in Sales & Marketing, Tourism & Hospitality, or related field.
• A certificate in Digital Marketing will be an added advantage.
• At least 3 years’ experience working in a similar environment and/or at the same position.
