Crisp N Clean Dry Cleaners seeks a visionary marketing professional who serves a key leadership role for the institution. The Marketing Officer is responsible for developing and implementing the long-term marketing & communication vision for Crisp N Clean Dry Cleaners’ brand, which promotes its unique position in the marketplace. Responsibilities include planning, development and implementation of all Crisp N Clean Dry Cleaners marketing strategies and marketing communications, both external and internal. Oversees development and implementation of support materials and services in the area of marketing and communications. Directs the efforts of the marketing and communications staff and coordinates at the strategic and tactical levels with the other functions of the Company.
Duties And Responsibilities
Marketing and Communications- 45% of the time
• Reflect, articulate, and promote the mission, vision and identity of Crisp N Clean Dry Cleaners.
• Responsible for creating, implementing and measuring the success of a comprehensive marketing and communications program that will enhance the Crisp N Clean Dry Cleaners image and position within the marketplace and the general public, and facilitate internal and external communications.
• Manage the strategic and creative design of Crisp N Clean Dry Cleaners marketing and communications activities and materials.
• Ensure articulation of Crisp N Clean Dry Cleaners ’s desired image and position, assure consistent communication of image and position throughout the institution, and assure communication of image and position to all depots, both internal and external
• Coordinate the appearance of all Company print and electronic materials such as fliers, letterhead, use of logo, brochures, etc.
• Develop, coordinate and oversee programs, technical assistance and resource materials to assist various departments in the marketing, communications and positioning of their activities.
• Ensure that the Company regularly conducts relevant market research and coordinate and oversee this activity. Monitor trends.
• Leads special projects as assigned, such as special events, re-branding/logo development, and capital campaign communications plan.
Planning and Budgeting- 35% of the time
• Responsible for the achievement of marketing and communications mission, goals and financial objectives. Ensure that evaluation systems, including benchmarks, are in place related to these goals and objectives and report progress to the General Manager .
• Develop short- and long-term plans and budgets for the marketing and communications program and its activities, monitor progress, assure adherence and evaluate performance.
• Recommend short- and long-term Company goals and objectives to the General Manager .
• Develop, implement and monitor systems and procedures necessary to the smooth operation of the marketing and communications function.
• Keep informed of developments in the fields of marketing and communications, and dry cleaning management and governance, and the specific business of the Company and use this information to help the company operate with initiative and innovation.
Company Strategy- 15% of the time
• Provide support to the General Manager , and selected others in public affairs matters and marketing activities.
• Work with various departments to develop and maintain a strategic perspective — based on marketplace and constituent needs and satisfaction, in organizational direction, services, and decision-making; and ensure the overall health and vitality of the Company.
• Help make sure that the Crisp N Clean Dry Cleaners’ mission and vision are pertinent and practiced throughout the organization.
• Develop and coordinate means to seek regular input from the Company’s key market constituencies regarding the quality of services and the company’s relevance.
• Help formulate and administer policies to ensure the integrity of the Company.
Qualifications And Experience
Qualifications in marketing and driver’s license class 4 a must
Skills and Attributes
• Understands, appreciate, and articulate the mission of Crisp N Clean Dry Cleaners ; and has a desire and ability to work collaboratively with others
• Demonstrated skills, knowledge and experience in the design and execution of marketing and communications activities.
• Strong creative, strategic, analytical, organizational and personal sales skills.
• Experience developing and managing budgets, and hiring, training, developing, supervising and appraising personnel.
• Experience overseeing the design and production of print materials and publications, website management, and social media content creation and management.
• Computer literacy in word processing, data base management and page layout.
• Commitment to working with shared leadership and in cross-functional teams.
• Must be able to receive constructive criticism well.
• Strong oral and written communications skills.
• Ability to work independently and responsibly while managing numerous projects simultaneously.
