Job Description
We have been exclusively retained by our client, a well-established manufacturing company with a high reputation for customer excellence both locally and regionally, to assist with the recruitment and selection of a suitably qualified Sales and Marketing Director. The incumbent will be responsible for giving direction to the Sales and Marketing team with view
of growing both local and exports sales as well as developing strategic, customer centric and
fully integrated marketing programs for the Organisation. The position reports directly to theChief Executive Officer.
Duties and Responsibilities
Key Job Functions:
❖ Aggressive marketing of the brand to both local and export markets.
❖ Develop and implement strategic marketing plans, sales plans and forecasts to
achieve corporate objectives for products.
❖ Align marketing and sales strategies with the business goals of the Organisation.
❖ To plan an oversee advertising and promotional activities including print, online and
electronic media.
❖ To oversee and evaluate market research and adjust marketing strategy to meet
changing market and competitive conditions.
❖ Identify and recommend opportunities for building effective relationships with
strategic business partners.
❖ Actively monitor and evaluate competitor activities and recommend strategic
adjustments where necessary.
❖ Actively promote brand visibility for the organisation through targeted participation in
initiatives with a wide coverage and appeals to identified markets.
Qualifications and Experience
Requirements for the Job:
❖ Must be a holder of a first degree in Marketing, Engineering or equivalent.
❖ An MBA/MBL will be an added advantage.
❖ At least 10 years relevant experience at a Senior Management Level in the Sales &
Marketing field.
❖ Construction Materials background will be an added advantage.
❖ Must be highly motivated, self-directed with strong desire for achievement.
