We are seeking passionate and self-motivated Sales Agents to promote and sell a growing catalog of books.
This is a commission-based role. Perfect for goal-oriented individuals who thrive on results.
Job Description
* Promote and sell books to potential customers through various channels and personal networks (online and offline)
* Identify new markets, sales opportunities, and trends
* Analyse the market constantly and effectively, and suggest product positioning and marketing strategies
* Identify new business opportunities and expand our customer base
* Understand customer needs and buying behaviors to ensure efficient customer targeting and segmentation
* Provide feedback on market trends and customer needs
* Achieve and exceed set sales targets
* Maintain regular communication with the author
* Product knowledge: Understand the product you are selling and show genuine interest in it to ensure efficient customer service
Key Competencies
* Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills
* Strong sales and marketing skills, with a proven track record of achieving sales targets
* Strong self-motivation and discipline
* Ability to work independently
* Basic digital marketing or social media skills
* A good social media following base is a strong advantage
* Ability to manage your time, work, and clients wisely (training will be provided)
* Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
* Ability to work under pressure and strict deadlines
* Passion for books and literature
* Passion for reading and storytelling
* Smart, professional, and presentable
* Active listening and emotional intelligence
Qualifications
* Minimum: 5 O’ Levels (including English)
* Basic Microsoft Excel knowledge
* At least 2 years of experience in Sales
* A Degree/Diploma/Certificate in Sales and Marketing, Entrepreneurship, or Business Administration from a recognized
institution gives you a strong advantage
* Familiarity with sales software and CRM systems is an added advantage
