Key Responsibilities
– Drafting, implementing and maintaining occupational safety health and environment policy and ensuring adherence.
– Ensuring compliance with all occupational safety health environment laws, bylaws and safety regulations.
-Occupational safety health risk identification, assessment and mitigation.
– Accident investigations and reporting.
– Ensuring adherence to Covid19 regulations and giving recommendations for the safety of employee stakeholders.
Qualifications and Experience
– A degree in Safety Health and Environment
– Certificate in Occupational Safety and Health
– Certificates in First Aid and Fire Fighting an added advantage
– At least 5 years’ experience in similar position
Person Specification
– Have a strong knowledge of relevant local legislation
– Good communication skills both verbal and written
– Ability to analyse situations for sound decision making.
