Safety, Health and Environment Officer
Duties and Responsibilities
- Monitors that all staff comply with SHE policies
- Provides on the job training and safe working systems.
- Reinforces safe work behaviours.
- Monitors proper use of personal protective equipment
- Conducts surveys and monitor occupational hygiene stress factors. Follows up on corrective actions for identified hazards Participates in accident/ incident investigation in order to find the cause of the problem and implement preventive measures.
- Undertakes programmes to promote good employee health.
- Compiles statistical reports on accidents/incidents.
Qualification and Experience
- Degree in Environmental science or Equivalent Relevant
- post graduate qualification such as SHATCOR I & II, SAMTRAC
- 3 years relevant experience
- Clean Class 4 Drivers Licence
