VACANCY NOTICE

Applications are invited from suitably qualified persons to fill the following vacant posts of River Monitors in Odzi Sub Catchment Council

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Data capturing of all water users in the sub catchment during field activities.
Visits all water users to ascertain the water permit conditions.
Write reports on weekly and monthly field activities.
Stakeholder awareness on Integrated Water Resources Management (IWRM) in the catchment.
Attend meetings on water resources management.
Receives reports of disputes and resolve the dispute.
Distributes the invoices to water users and payment follow up.
Any other duties assigned by the superior.

JOB SKILLS AND COMPETENCIES
Good communication and presentation skills
Ability to work with minimum supervision and above 25 years old
Organizational and interpersonal skills
Computer and GIS skills

QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE

Diploma in Water/Agriculture/ Natural Resources Management/ Geography/ Environmental
Science
Relevant Degree an added advantage.
Experience on community work or natural resource management
Clean class four driver licence
Ability to ride a motor bike an added advantage
