The position is responsible for spearheading the fight against medical aid Fraud, Abuse, Misuse, Waste and error, and to ensure timeous Accreditation and re-accreditation of healthcare facilities to promote quality
Duties And Responsibilities
1. Spearheading and Coordinating activities to fight medical aid Fraud, Abuse, misuse, Waste, and error.
2. Timeous accreditation and re-accreditation of institutions for allocation of appropriate fee structures for medical aid purposes and for promoting quality service and use of sound infrastructure within healthcare institutions.
3. Leading and Coordinating Risk Management activities
Qualifications And Experience
Degree in Nursing Administration OR a Diploma in General
Nursing plus any Management or Administrative Qualification
or any other Degree. Working experience in medical aid claims
processing, investigations, healthcare forensics is an advantage.
A clean class 4 drivers’ licence
