JOB DESCRIPTION

This position is responsible for spearheading the fight against medical aid Fraud, Abuse, Misuse, Waste and error, and to ensure timeous accreditation and re-accreditation of healthcare facilities to promote quality.

Key Job Functions;

• Spearheading Risk Management meetings to ensure for adequate planning purposes.
• Spearheading and Coordinating activities to fight medical aid Fraud, Abuse, misuse, Waste, and error.
• Timeous accreditation and re-accreditation of institutions for allocation of appropriate fee structures for medical aid purposes and for promoting quality service within healthcare institutions.

Qualifications and Experience:

• Degree in Nursing Administration OR a Diploma in General Nursing plus any Management or Administrative Qualification or any other Degree.
• Working experience in medical aid claims processing, investigations, healthcare forensics is an advantage.
• A clean class 4 drivers’ licence.
