Job Summary

This role will require you to perform inspection of all lifting equipment whilst performing all Rigging tasks which may be require on a day to day bases and your role will include:
Duties and Responsibilities
Determining and selecting Rigging based on the loads that may be required
Ensuring that material, spares and equipment are available as required
Ensuring proper and adequate on the job training and coaching is provided to subordinates. Achieving of safe production performance levels through the effective maintenance of equipment
Advising defects and abnormalities to appropriate supervisor or manager
Qualifications and Experience:
National Certificate in Class 2 or Class 1 Rigging (attach certificate to application).
Minimum of 3 years’ experience as an Artisan Class 2 or Class 1 Rigger
Apprenticeship trained and Load dynamics and associated hazards
Perform pre use inspection of rigging and lift points
Must be familiar with risk assessments procedure
Requirements:
Must be prepared to work overtime and do standby duties
Must have good written and verbal communication skills in English. You will be required to obtain a Certificate of fitness
