Zimbabwe National Water Authority (ZINWA) is inviting applications from suitably qualified, mature, honest and substantially experienced persons for appointment to the above challenging positions which have arisen in the Organization.

RIG OPERATOR

The applicant will be based at Head Office in Harare and reporting to the Provincial Engineer.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Survey location before drilling to ensure the borehole is drilled at the right position.
• Conducting Rig checks before operating the Rig machine.
• Drilling, casing and Borehole pump installations.
• Recording of daily drilling activities and production of reports.
• Attending to minor Rig machine breakdowns.

PERSON SPECIFICATIONS

• Rig Operating certificate
• Clean Class 2 drivers licence
• At least 2 years experience
• Excellent written and communication skills
