Applications are invited from suitably qualified persons to fill the vacant post of REVENUE OFFICER x 1 (HARARE) that has arisen within the Zimbabwe Manpower Development Fund (ZIMDEF) – an equal opportunity employer.

Specific Duties and Responsibilities:

• Ensuring that accounts for all business partners are up-to-date at any given period and revenue is collected accordingly within the stipulated timelines.
• Registering all eligible business partners with jurisdiction of operation in accordance with the relevant legislation to ensure revenue growth.
• Conducting physical inspections of financial statements or financial reports for business partners to ensure compliance.
• Collecting training levy from all eligible business partners and ensuring that levy debt is followed up regularly.
• Monitoring all business partners under Judicial Management so as to file claims to declare amounts owed to the Fund.
• Educating business partners about training levy, its benefits and on how the funds are being utilized.
• Attending timeously to client queries so as to facilitate smooth levy collections.
• Preparing and producing reports on levy collections, inspections, registrations and debtors.
• Reporting monthly on the performance of the allocated portfolio and the progress that has been made in order for management to assess the organisation’s financial standing.

Qualifications, Competencies and Work Competencies

• Degree in Accounting or Finance from a recognised institute of higher learning
• English Language and mathematics at ordinary level a must
• At least 3 years’ relevant experience
• Clean class 4 Driver’s licence is a must
