Key Responsibilities

  • Manage daily administrative tasks for the retail store
  • Assist in inventory management and stock control
  • Coordinate with various departments for streamlined operations
  • Handle customer inquiries and complaints in a professional manner
  • Support the retail management team in implementing store strategies
  • Maintain records of sales, purchases, and stock levels
  • Oversee cashier operations and ensure proper cash handling
  • Assist in the training and on boarding of new retail staff
  • Monitor store supplies and place orders as needed
  • Prepare and submit regular reports on store performance
  • Preparation of annual budgets to meet deadlines in line with the strategic planning objectives of the Retail
  • To ensure adherence to budgeted Retail expenditure
  • Preparation of management reports as well as costing reports
  • Costing of all Retail products
  • Preparation of year-end audit schedules for the Department
  • Carrying out cash reconciliation, cash ups and daily banking

Requirements

  • Higher National Diploma in Accountancy/ Bachelor s degree in Business Administration is a must
  • Applicants must have five (5) Ordinary Level Passes including English Language and Mathematics
  • Masters in Business Administration is an added advantage
  • At least three (3) years of proven experience in Business Administration
  • Knowledge of Point of Sale
