Resource Geologist

Main Responsibilities
• Managing resource exploration and database systems
• Managing resource modelling and reconciliation systems •
Designing and supervising resource drilling programs and appropriate QAQC protocols
• Producing year end JORC resource statements
• Core logging for resource definition programs
• Reconciling grades and SFD QD profiles between model and actuals

Minimum Requirements
• Minimum of a BSc Degree in Geology
• Minimum of a postgraduate qualification in geo-statistics
• At least two years hands on experience in geo-statistical resource estimation
• A working knowledge of kimberlitic geology desirable
• Must have experience with supervising Reverse Circulation and Diamond drill rigs
• Valid clean class 4 driver’s license
• Ability to use mainstream geological modelling, resource estimation and database software

• Knowledge of HSE standards is a must
