The successful candidate must be able to:-:
Manage and coordinate all research activities within the Faculty
Advise and support Faculty senior management on research capacity building and improvement of research output to enhance the Faculty’s research profile
Coordinate development of Faculty research policy and guidelines
Raise awareness of research and grant opportunities and support offered by the Faculty
Liaise with the University’s Research Board and other key stakeholders on research matters
Any other duties that may be assigned by the Dean.
Qualifications And Experience
Qualifications and Experience
The position requires an individual with: –
Bachelors’ Degree in Law, Administration or related field from a reputable Institution
DPhil in the relevant field will be an added advantage
At least four years’ post qualification experience in a University or Academic Institution
Must be able to work under pressure and beyond normal working hours
Must be a good team player with excellent working and writing skills
Must be dynamic and versatile
