Qualifications and Experience

A first degree (at least a 2.1) in Engineering[#].

Minimum of one (1) year of industrial experience in the corporate world or government[#].

A Master’s Degree in Business Administration or equivalent is an added advantage[#].
Duties and Responsibilities
-
Develop, strengthen, and maintain linkages between the Faculty, Industry, and Alumni[#].
-
Devise and implement research and development projects for the mutual benefit of the Faculty and Industry[#].
-
Promote two-way, mutually beneficial training, research, and consultancy programmes between the Faculty and Industry[#].
-
Market Faculty innovations and projects to MSU, Industry, and other stakeholders[#].
-
Advance issues of curriculum enhancement, Work Related Learning, graduate recruitment, and programme marketing to Industry and other stakeholders[#].
-
Organise and manage Work Related Learning internships and field visits in consultation with Departments and Industry[#].
-
Serve as a member of the Faculty Mining Industry Advisory Committee (MIAC) and Faculty Research and Innovation Committee[#].
-
Perform any other duties as may be delegated by the Executive Dean[#].
