Research & Development Officer
Coordinating effective capture and monitoring of intellectual property arising from the entity’s research portfolio Supporting in-house research projects and consultations – including setting questions for surveys, and topic guides for focus groups/ interviews,
Entry and analysis of quantitative data.
Supporting additional specific research initiatives as required.
Providing project coordination and administrative support to specific projects as required, including but not restricted to the Road Safety.
Design road safety research projects which apply valid scientific techniques and utilize information obtained from baselines.
Use computers with specialized statistical software packages, statistical/ mathematical-cal theory to analyse road safety data more accurately and efficiently
Manage organization’s databases on, among others, driving schools and defensive driving courses graduates and Co-operating Agencies.
Ensures and monitors training of all Traffic Safety Instructors
Monitors compliance of Co-operating agencies and submits quarterly reports of the same to Management
ideal incumbent will have a minimum of the following:
a) A Degree in Statistics or equivalent
(b) Relevant post-graduate qualification an added advantage
(c) Three (3) years relevant experience
(d) A clean drivers licence
(e) A Valid Defensive driving

(a) Excellent knowledge of computerized systems
(b) Good understanding of research methods ) Excellent analytical and evaluation skills Excellent report writing skills ‘ Accuracy at figures and ability to work under pressure
