Key Responsibilities
- Implement structured preventive and predictive maintenance systems
- Drive breakdown reduction and equipment reliability improvements
- Manage workshops, field service teams, and maintenance schedules
- Control spares, fuel, and maintenance costs in a high-inflation environment
- Ensure compliance with local safety regulations and standards
- Lead, train, and develop maintenance personnel
Requirements
- Degree/Diploma in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent
- Minimum 8 years’ experience in heavy equipment maintenance (construction/mining preferred)
- Proven experience managing mobile plant equipment
- Strong hands-on technical background (not purely administrative)
- Experience working in multi-site operations
- Strong leadership and discipline
- Ability to work under pressure in demanding site conditions
- Practical problem-solving mindset
- High integrity and accountability
