Job Summary
Overall responsible for efficiently carrying out assigned duties, conducting patient assessments, and documentation, carrying out Doctor’s instructions, evaluating patient care, and ensuring patients’ safety.
Duties And Responsibilities
- Providing total individualized and comprehensive nursing care to patients according to nursing and Doctor’s plans.
- Performing nursing procedures and treatment of patients in a competent and professional manner.
- Plans and implements the Nursing initial and continuous assessments for patients applying the holistic approach using the nursing process.
- Ensuring a clean therapeutic environment for the patients placed under your care.
- Acts as a professional role model at all times upholding the standards and Ethics of the profession.
- Promotes good Team spirit good interpersonal, interdepartmental relationships, and personnel cooperation.
- ensure proper timeous documentation
Qualifications And Experience
- Diploma / Degree in Nursing
- Registered Nurses Council, with current practising certificate
- Minimum of 2 years of clinical nursing practice (pediatric surgical ward unit)
- Excellent verbal and written communication
- Fluent in various languages (Sign language an added advantage
