Key Responsibilities
- Providing primary health care, triage and treatment for on-site employees, contractors and visitors.
- Delivering emergency and trauma care, stabilisation and coordination of referrals or evacuation to higher-level facilities.
- Managing the clinic dispensary: drug ordering, stock control, expiry monitoring, cold chain maintenance and safe custody of scheduled medicines.
- Offering family planning services to clients.
- Conducting health education and wellness programmes.
- Ensuring infection prevention and control, medical waste management, and clinic compliance with licensing standards.
- Maintaining emergency preparedness, i.e., first-aid kits, stretchers, oxygen, ambulance readiness, and drills.
Requirements
- Diploma or Degree in General Nursing with Valid Practising Certificate.
- Valid certification in Occupational Health Nursing.
- 3 years of experience, of which at least two (2) years must have been in a mining, heavy industrial, construction or occupational health setting.
- Certificate in HIV Management and Family Planning.
- Dispensing certificate from MCAZ.
