A position of a Radiographer / X-Ray Operator has arisen in the Union Zimbabwe Trust that need to be filled in urgently.
Responsibilities
Operating a mobile X-ray machine to produce chest radiograph images of high quality for diagnostic purposes during community TB screening activities; Ensure precise work and attention to detail as well as adherence to strict safety procedures; Assist in referral of patients diagnosed of TB to the nearest health facility and confirm linkage to care; Completes a client information record and sends the record for filing; Documents case studies, good practices and shares the information with the Team Leader; Writes a feedback report and submits to the team leader
The job requires precise work and attention to detail as well as adherence to strict safety procedures. The job holder will also possess strong interpersonal skills necessary in fostering a sense of comfort and confidence to patients.
Requirements
A relevant diploma/certificate/degree in diagnostic radiography; Must be licensed / registered with the Allied Health Practitioners Council of Zimbabwe (AHPCZ) to practice as a radiographer / X-Ray Operator; Minimum of 3 years work related experience; Fluency in Shona and Ndebele will be an added advantage.
