RADIOGRAPHER -ZVISHAVANE

Applications are invited from suitably qualified and experienced persons to fill the position of Radiographer in Nectacare in Zvishavane.

The main purpose of the job is to examine and assist in diagnosing patients’ illnesses and injuries and properly interpret the images – observing and conforming to all the laws and customs of or affecting the Radiation Protection Authority

Duties and Responsibilities

Reporting to the Medical Doctor, the principal accountabilities of the job are:

• Preparing patients for specific examinations.
• Performing radiographic examinations.
• Managing relationships with patients and customers, ensuring excellent quality service
• Maintaining proper records of patient details, ensuring confidentiality of sensitive information
• Controlling and conducting periodic stock taking.
• Ensuring regulatory compliance.

Qualifications and Experience

Qualifications:
• Bachelor of Science Honors Degree in Diagnostic Radiography or equivalent
• Post Graduate qualification in diagnostic USS as an added advantage
• Valid AHPCZ practicing certificate
• Valid AHPCZ registration certificate

Ideal Candidate must:
• Have 3 years’ appropriate and relevant experience in offering radiology services
• Have a strong client focus with good communication skills
• Be highly observant and have good analytical skills.
• Have commitment to handling private and confidential information with a high degree of professionalism
