Key Responsibilities
- To assist the Radio Technician in planning, setting up and executing the maintenance and inspection schedule of the company’s equipment.
- Assist in the installation of different types of radios within the company’s radio networks.
- Aid the Radio Technician in performing general overhaul work on radios and workshop equipment in line with radios.
- Assist the Radio Technician in rebuilding and modifying radio equipment to improve systems or meet specific requirements.
- Assist the Radio Technician in compiling reports.
- Ensuring all housekeeping and SHE issues within work areas all the times
Requirements
- Degree in Telecommunications Engineering/ Related
- 5 ‘O-level certificates including English and Maths.
- Good working knowledge of VHF, UHF and FM equipment.
- Computer Literacy.
- Ability to read and interpret user manuals correctly
- A team player with Strong communication and interpersonal skills
