Duties and Responsibilities

Key Responsibilities:

– Estimate and quantify joinery, aluminium, and associated works from plans, specifications, and site visits
– Prepare and manage project budgets, cost reports, and forecasts
– Analyze and compare tender documents, contracts, and project requirements
– Conduct site visits to monitor progress, identify variations, and assess potential costs
– Collaborate with project managers to optimize project delivery, costs, and quality
– Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients, subcontractors, and suppliers
– Stay up-to-date with industry trends, market rates, and emerging technologies

Qualifications and Experience

Have a:
Degree or diploma in Quantity suveyor at least 3 years work experience
.
– Proven experience as a Quantity Surveyor in joinery, fit-out, or construction
– Strong understanding of joinery, aluminium, and associated works
– Ability to read and interpret plans, specifications, and technical drawings
– Excellent estimating, analytical, and problem-solving skills
– Effective communication, negotiation, and project management skills
– Proficient in MS excel, Ms projects, Ms word
