Position Overview
The Quality Assurance (QA) and Test Engineer is responsible for:

Designing, developing, and executing comprehensive test plans and test cases aimed at identifying and resolving software defects.

Applying a robust understanding of established testing methodologies, software development lifecycle processes, and industry-standard quality assurance best practices.
-
Collaborating closely with development teams, product management, and other relevant stakeholders to ensure the delivery of high-quality software products.
Responsibilities
-
Conduct comprehensive stakeholder interviews, workshops, surveys, and document analysis to gather and document detailed business requirements.

Analyze existing business processes, systems, and workflows to identify inefficiencies, gaps, and opportunities for process improvement.

Develop and maintain detailed process models (e.g., BPMN, As-Is & To-Be flowcharts) to visualize current and future state processes, utilizing industry-standard frameworks and tools.

Identify and evaluate opportunities for process optimization, automation, and re-engineering to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.
-
Recommend and document process improvements aimed at enhancing efficiency, reducing costs, and improving service delivery.

Conduct thorough gap analysis to identify discrepancies between current and desired business processes.
-
Establish and maintain strong, collaborative relationships with stakeholders at all levels of the organization.
-
Facilitate effective communication and collaboration between business and technical teams.
-
Present findings, recommendations, and project updates to stakeholders in a clear, concise, and professional manner.
-
Evaluate potential solutions, including software applications and process changes, to determine their feasibility and alignment with business requirements.

Develop comprehensive business cases and cost-benefit analyses to support solution recommendations.
-
Participate in sprint planning, retrospectives, and other Agile ceremonies, and implement Agile principles and frameworks in collaboration with technical staff.

Conduct research on emerging and disruptive technologies and propose strategies for their integration to enhance existing business processes and systems.
-
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to translate business and system requirements into detailed functional requirements.

Perform comprehensive ICT project risk assessments, identify potential risks, and develop robust mitigation strategies.
-
Participate in user acceptance testing (UAT) for all application software/solutions to verify their fitness for purpose and user acceptability, in collaboration with technical staff.
-
Collaborate with project managers to define project scope, objectives, and deliverables.
-
Participate in project and test planning, execution, and monitoring activities.
-
Develop and maintain comprehensive documentation, including business process enhancement documents and detailed process flows.
Qualifications
-
Bachelor’s Degree in Information Technology, Software Engineering, Human-Computer Interaction (HCI), or a related discipline.
-
Certification in programming or related technologies is considered a valuable asset.

A minimum of three years of relevant professional experience is required.
Skills
-
Demonstrated front-end development expertise, evidenced by a strong portfolio.
-
Proficiency in HTML, CSS, and CSS preprocessors such as Sass.
-
Proven experience with modern front-end frameworks, including but not limited to React, Angular, and Vue.js.
-
Familiarity with industry-standard design tools, such as Figma, Sketch, Adobe XD, and InVision Studio.
-
Comprehensive understanding of responsive design and mobile-first development principles.
-
Experience working within an Agile development environment and utilizing application software version control platforms, such as GitHub.

Familiarity with automated testing tools, including Selenium, Jasmine, and Karma.
-
Knowledge of application containerization platforms, such as Docker, AWS Fargate, and Google Kubernetes Engine.
-
Strong analytical, critical thinking, and problem-solving abilities.
-
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, both written and verbal.
-
Proven ability to function as an effective team player, collaborating seamlessly with cross-functional teams.
