Key Responsibilities

• Ensures adherence to quality systems in QC department.
• Ensures and monitors stability studies as per schedule for all required products.
• Reviews all functional & general SOPs of QC dept.
• Ensures analysts’ qualification is performed
• Approves/rejects testing of raw materials, packaging materials, in-process materials and finished products as per established standards.
• To Maintain/ Control cost of laboratory.
• Review & control all specifications
• Performs analytical method development and validation and/ or verification
• Monitor and control of reference standards, reagents and all chemicals used in the laboratory

Requirements

• 1st degree in Chemistry (Bsc Hons) or equivalent
• Any other post-graduate qualification is an added advantage
• At least 3 years of working in a Pharmaceutical Quality control laboratory
