JOB DESCRIPTION
Applications are invited from suitably qualified and experienced persons to fill the position of PUBLIC RELATIONS MANAGER which has arisen within the People’s Own Savings Bank.
Reporting to the Marketing & Public Relations Executive. the incumbent will be responsible for the protection and promotion of the bank’s image through strategic communications that builds mutually beneficial relationships between the Bank and its stakeholders.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Monitor and develop corporate image and brand identity.
- Build long-term relationships with all stakeholders.
- Plan, implement and manage public relations programs.
- Develop and implement crisis communications advice and media strategy.
- Produce content for various speeches, events and hearings.
- Coordinate internal and external publications.
- Plan and budget for PR events. programs and initiatives.
- Manage the contact centre activities.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
- Degree in Journalism, Public Relations. Business Studies, English or related field.
- Public Relations or Customer Experience qualification
EXPERIENCE & SKILLS
- 3 years’ experience in public relations/media
- Excellent oral and written communication skills
- Superior customer relationship management skills
- Research skills and harnessed creativity
- Social media skills
