PUBLIC RELATIONS INTERN (B1)

Applications are invited from suitably qualified and experienced candidates for one-year internship program in the Authority’s Public Relations Department. The incumbent will be reporting to the Public Relations Manager.

Duties (Responsibilities)

Assisting the Public Relations Manager in the drafting of Speeches,
Monitoring of Social media and press releases,
Networking and liaising with relevant stakeholders,
Contributing towards work plan and budget for the Unit,
Assisting in the development and dissemination of public relations materials
Assisting in building and maintaining relationships with journalists, bloggers, investors and customer audiences that will help advance our work
Identifying target audiences and creating strategies to effectively engage them
Ensuring digital marketing content aligns with our brand’s identity and message, and assist with marketing campaigns as needed.

Qualifications, Experience, And Skills

The suitable candidate sought is a recent graduate from reputable institution with excellent communication and public relations skills and a passion for learning and action. The candidate should have:
5 O’ levels including English Language
Degree in Media Studies or equivalent,
Excellent communication skills/Public Relations, presentation skills
Computer literate.
