VACANCY
The Broadcasting Authority of Zimbabwe is inviting suitably and qualified Candidates to fill in the position of Public Relations and Communications Officer who will be responsible for managing and enhancing the public image of the Organization. The Public Relations and Communications Officer will report to the Chief Executive Officer.
KEY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Develop and Implement PR strategies.
- Cultivate and maintain relationships with journalists and media outlets.
- Produce and oversee content creation.
- Organize and manage promotional events.
- Address and manage any adverse publicity.
- Build and sustain relationships with key stakeholders.
QUALIFICATIONSAND EXPERIENCE
- A Bachelor’s degree in Public Relations. Communications. Marketing OR Journalism.
- Arelevant Master Degree is an added advantage.
- Excellent and strong verbal and written communication skills.
- 3 years relevant experience
- Experience in the Broadcasting sector is an added advantage
