Projects Manger

The Position

Reporting to the Head-ICT, the position shall be responsible for the following, among other duties:-

• Prepares clear project proposals and define scope and goals in measurable terms;
• Ensures that all projects are delivered on-time, within scope and within budget;
• Establishes performance results & measures for key project goals as well as defines monitoring, reporting and communication requirements;
• Coordinates internal resources and third parties/vendors for the flawless execution of projects;
• Develops plans & programs on project risk management and process improvement;
• Manages changes to the project scope, project schedule and functionality using appropriate verification techniques;
• Ensures that there is project compliance on all regulated areas;
• Monitors feedback and follow through mechanisms to ensure recommendations from findings are implemented.

Person Specifications

• A level passes;
• A Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or related;
• Recognised IT Project Methodology e.g. Prince II;
• At least 5 years experience in ICT, 2 of which should be at supervisory level;
• Good interpersonal skills.
