Scope of work
Under the overall supervision of the Finance and Admin Officer, the Driver will be responsible for the following tasks:
Duties And Responsibilities
Driving project team on a full time basis. This will include traveling to the field on a regular basis; Taking note of any faults that may develop on the vehicle and bringing them to the attention of FAO as soon as possible; Ensuring that the vehicle has the necessary accessory tools and clean all the time; Maintaining the project vehicle including oil, water, tyre, service checks and any other duties that may be assigned by the office administrator to ensure a smooth project flow; Maintenance of vehicle log book; Fuel Management, preparing vehicle service and repair records; Driving the project team around the communities during outreach. Driver has also have administrative roles to assist with office cleaning and maintenance photocopying scanning ,banking ,cash withdrawal and any other duties as assigned by the supervisor
Qualifications And Experience
A clean Class 2 driver’s license; A valid defensive driving certificate is an added advantage; knowledge of 4×4 wheel drive vehicle A mature person who is well organized; Ability to work independently but within a team framework; Minimum of 2 years NGO driving experience ; Minimum of 5 O- Level subjects plus basic knowledge of computers, printers ; Fluency in English and a local language is a prerequisite. Motorbike riding licence is an added advantage
