VACANCY

Mosi Oa Tunya Development Company (Private) Limited is a State-owned entity spearheading

tourism infrastructure development in Victoria Falls.

POST:

Key Responsibilities

• Be the company’s technical representative in the implementation of development projects in conjunction with core-development partners.
• Contributes to the development of the Company’s infrastructure strategy to guide its interventions.
• Assists in the identification of projects, drafting project concept papers or proposal, and lead the preparation of infrastructure projects to be implemented by the Company,
• Prepare designs, drawings, BOQs, project specification tender documents and recommending to the Management
• Determine project scope, tasks, goals, resource requirements for all in house projects, advising on prioritisation of pipeline projects.
• To review and oversee consultancy and co-development partners’ designs, that includes roads, storm water drainage, water, and sewer reticulation.
• Implementation, monitoring, evaluation and reporting for all projects, preparing project status reports to ensure effective delivery on the company’s Infrastructure Work Programmes.
• Identifies and coordinates capacity building programmes for identified projects.

Qualifications and Experience

• Degree in Engineering (Civil, Mechanical) or Construction Management.
• Post graduate qualification in above disciplines is a distinct advantage.
• A postgraduate qualification in Project Management is a distinct advantage.
• Working knowledge of relevant software such as AutoCAD, Revit, 3D modelling etc.
• Knowledge of town planning is an added advantage.
• At least 5 years relevant post-qualification experience in similar role.
