PROJECT DRIVER X 3 (HARARE/DISTRICT/PROVINCE)
Job Summary
This position provides driving support to program staff at community posts and on field visits the driver also participate in delivery of project commodities to sites. The incumbent also provides technical support to the maintenance of vehicles at ZACH.
Duties And Responsibilities
Drive project staff to field visits; Provide other light courier services as required; Coordinate the maintenance and fuelling of ZACH vehicles; Responsible for general vehicle cleanliness; Assist with filling of documents, communication, duplicating, binding and photocopying documents; Give support in supplies and basic office services; Assisting office staff with local deliveries; Assist project staff with trip planning; Carry out commodity deliveries to community posts and other project institutions; Assisting in general cleaning of the offices and grounds; Undertake other duties assigned;
Qualifications And Experience
Minimum 5 O level passes, including English; Minimum of Clean Class 4 driver’s license and valid Defensive Driver’s License; At least 5 years’ driving experience; Must respect and adhere to all safety and traffic rules; Understanding of written and spoken English is required; Basic Motor Vehicle Mechanic course is an added advantage; First Aid Course and with proven experience in First Aid management is an advantage; Familiarity with Microsoft Office software (Word, Access, Excel, PowerPoint).
