Desired qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in political science, public administration, international relations, organizational development, or in relevant fields with a minimum of 3 years’ of relevant experience; Substantial knowledge of youth strategies development; Experience in designing innovative and creative projects for youth in politically sensitive environments; Demonstrated experience in activity implementation, monitoring and evaluation, to activity management and supervising team efforts; Demonstrated effectiveness in developing and maintaining professional relationships with the government, civil society, and other stakeholders; Advanced language ability in both written and spoken English.

Qualifications and experience

The ideal candidate should have: At least a Bachelors’ degree in social sciences or Political Science or related disciplines; A Minimum of 3 years’ experience in governance or governance programming in an NGO with knowledge and understanding of financial and budgetary planning and control, rules and regulations; Demonstrated experience and ability to produce high quality reports; Experience working with stakeholders that include government ministries, donor representatives and NGO; The ability to work under pressure with minimum supervision and meet deadlines; Proficiency in Microsoft Office operations and packages.
