FACULTY OF PLANT AND ANIMAL SCIENCES AND TECHNOLOGY
Applications are invited from suitably qualified and experienced persons to fill the following post at Marondera University of Agricultural Sciences & Technology.
Qualifications and Experience
– Master’s degree in Animal Science or a related discipline.
– PhD in a relevant area is a distinct advantage.
– Bachelor’s degree in Animal Science is a must.
Duties and Responsibilities
The successful candidate will be expected to:
– Provide academic leadership to the Department.
– Guide and contribute to basic and applied research, innovation, and industrialization programs.
– Teach the following courses at undergraduate and postgraduate levels:
– Pig and Poultry Production Technology
– Beef and Small Ruminant Production Technology
– Monogastric Animal Management
– Coordinate and participate in the supervision of undergraduate and postgraduate research students.
– Demonstrate university teaching experience (added advantage).
