Key Responsibilities
- Build and maintain a portfolio of quality clients to reach targets within the assigned period
- Liaise with community organizations, business associations, and individual entrepreneurs
- Facilitate the opening of deposit accounts for borrowers and non-borrowers
- Conduct loan evaluations according to policies and procedures
- Ensure collateral or guarantees are in place and documented
- Participate in credit committees by providing input and preparing loan proposals
- Implement late repayment recovery procedures
- Achieve and maintain targets on portfolio at risk and loan loss
- Develop relationships with clients to support business success and loyalty
- Build rapport with community, business associations, and leaders in the geographical zone
Requirements
- A minimum of a business degree: BSc in Business Management, Banking, Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related fields with numerate coursework
- Excellent computer literacy, especially with Microsoft Office applications, notably Excel
- At least two years’ prior experience in banking, sales, or marketing is a plus
- Ability to meet set sales targets
- Strong written and oral communication skills
