Vacancy : Production Center Manager
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- To proactively deliver quality products according to approved production plan at optimal costs on time
- To ensure that there are systems in place which enable the achievement of optimum production in the plant through monitoring the availability of machines and ,managing the production floors accordingly
- Optimize machine operation to improve the overall performance of the factory
- To analyse and review production data to assist in management decision making process and strategy formulation
- Monitor downtime to maintain the productivity on the floor
- Review and recommend systems to ensure good quality of raw materials and products
- Develop and review supplier engagement mechanisms
- Review risk management and mitigation strategies
- To review Operational Procedures and contract management
- Develop and implement interior health and safety policies /strategies necessary for optimized work processes
- To determine the production lines for running as well as production quantities to meet the Sales Department needs
- Design training and development programs for subordinates
- To be a leader of continuous improvement process on plants to ensure high efficiency
QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE
- Must be a holder of a degree and Food Science / Engineering or equipment
- At least 5 years relevant experience
- Ability to work under pressure
- Must be demonstrate sound work ethics and capacity for maintaining high professional standards and enhancing productivity levels
