Key Responsibilities
- Timely actioning of purchase requisitions in assigned procurement categories and/or campuses.
- Supervising Procurement Officers in assigned procurement categories.
- Taking minutes for Procurement meetings related to PPDPA Act-exempted procurements.
- Leading PMU activities in campuses outside Gweru, where applicable.
- Producing category-specific procurement reports.
- Checking cost comparative schedules for onward transmission to the Procurement Manager.
- Performing any other duties assigned by the Procurement Manager.
Requirements
- A first degree in Purchasing and Supply Chain Management.
- A Master’s degree in Purchasing and Supply Chain Management is an added advantage.
- A professional qualification in Purchasing and Supply Chain Management, such as CIPS, is a must.
- A minimum of three years’ relevant working experience.
- Good oral and written communication skills.
- Good team player.
- Ability to pay attention to detail.
