Applications are invited from suitably qualified, experienced, self-motivated, and task-oriented individuals to fill the above position that has arisen within the Mutoko Rural District Council. The incumbent shall be reporting to the Procurement Officer.

Key Responsibilities

  • Procurement of goods and services.
  • Captures procurement data, prepares purchase requisitions, and issues Requests for Quotations (RFQs) to suppliers.
  • Record bid submissions, assist with bid openings, and prepare accurate minutes.
  • Support the preparation of draft evaluation reports and provide clerical support for procurement reports and audits.
  • Process supplier invoices, reconcile with purchase orders and delivery notes, and maintain supplier records up to date
  • Maintaining procurement records.
  • Disposal of goods.
  • Any other duty assigned.

Requirements

  • Minimum of Higher National Diploma in Purchasing and Supply Management or related field
  • 2 years relevant experience in the public sector
  • Clean record of service
  • Knowledge of e-GP (added advantage)
  • Must be at most 30 years of age
