Childline Zimbabwe is seeking a qualified individual to take up the role of Procurement & Administration Assistant on a short-term basis.

Key Responsibilities

  • Procure according to the Procurement Plan and Childline’s policies.
  • Engage suppliers, obtain quotations and prepare purchase requests.
  • Maintain procurement records, including invoices, delivery notes, quotations and approval forms.
  • Coordinate order processing and deliveries.
  • Track requests and follow up on shortages or delays.
  • Support inventory management by tracking stock levels and flagging low-stock items.
  • Ensure compliance with procurement processes and policies.

Requirements

  • Degree in Purchasing and Supply, or an equally relevant qualification.
  • At least 2 years’ experience in Procurement and Administration.
  • Knowledge of national and international procurement regulations.
  • Ability to maintain a high level of confidentiality.
  • Strong analytical, writing and organisational skills.
  • Ability to work independently.
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
