The above position which reports to the Production Manager has fallen vacant and applications are invited from interested and suitably qualified persons.

Major Activities:

• Process design, troubleshooting, optimisation and development
• Product development, evaluation and management
• Managing costs and budgetary controls
• Monitoring technological advancements of benefit to the company and initiating adoption
• Supervise and train subordinate staff in the department.
• Any other duties as assigned by superiors

Qualifications & Experience:

• A University degree that majors in Chemical Engineering, process technology, minerals processing or any related field;
• A managerial or supervisory qualification is a distinct advantage.
• Have at least 2 years experience in a chemical, minerals, or other process industry;
• Be mature, highly self-motivated self starter and able to work with minimum supervision;
• Demonstrate leadership capabilities and possess good communication and interaction skills;
• Knowledge of ISO 9001, ISO 14001 and ISO 45001 management systems will be an added advantage.
