PRIMARY AND SECONDARY TEACHER TRAINING: FEBRUARY 2026

Applications are invited from suitably qualified candidates for Three year Diploma in Education courses at Masvingo Teachers’ College as detailed below:

1. DIPLOMA IN EDUCATION (PRIMARY)

i. Early Childhood Development (ECD) Course.
ii. Junior Education Course

Entry Requirements for Primary Courses:

A minimum of 5 ‘O’ Level passes with Grade C or better which are English, any Indigenous Language, Mathematics, Science and any other subject(s).

2. DIPLOMA IN EDUCATION (SECONDARY SCIENCES)
Subject specialization is offered in any one of the following:

• Agriculture

• Building Technology and Design

• Computer Science

• Geography and Environmental Science

• Food Technology and Design

• Mathematics

• Physical Education Sport and Mass Display

• Science (Biology, Chemistry, Physics)

• Textile Technology and Design

N/B: “A” Level pass in the subject of specialization is an added advantage.
Entry Requirements for Secondary Course:
A minimum of 5 ‘O’ Level with Grade C or better including English, Science and Mathematics.
