A dynamic, proactive and experienced Primary Headmaster is required for a private Mother Mary Junior School in Waterfalls Harare, tasked with leading academic excellence and strategic growth. The ideal candidate must have a relevant education degree, senior leadership experience, and a strong understanding of new ZIMSEC/Cambridge curricula, focusing on holistic development.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide strategic leadership, fostering a positive, inclusive, and academically excellent school culture.
- Oversee day-to-day administration, including financial budgeting, resource management, and compliance with Ministry of Education regulations.
- Supervise, motivate, and mentor teaching and non-teaching staff.
- Drive curriculum development and, oversee ZIMSEC and Cambridge examinations preparations.
- Strengthen relationships between the school, parents, and the local community.
Requirements
- A Diploma in Education with a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Education.
- At least 5 years of proven experience in a senior leadership position Head or Deputy in a primary school.
- Strong proficiency in English (written and spoken).
- Computer literacy (including knowledge of school management systems).
- Clean Class 4 or 2 driver’s license.
- Christian background values.
