Our client in the tobacco manufacturing industry is seeking a highly analytical and results-driven PMD Process Analyst to support process optimization, quality assurance, loss elimination, and continuous improvement initiatives. The successful candidate will be responsible for analyzing manufacturing processes, monitoring product quality, driving process control systems, and implementing data-driven solutions that improve operational performance, product integrity, and efficiency

Key Responsibilities

  • Monitor manufacturing processes to ensure product quality and compliance with established standards.
  • Conduct process analysis, quality inspections, sampling, and trend monitoring.
  • Analyze process, quality, waste, and downtime data to identify improvement opportunities.
  • Apply statistical process control techniques to improve process stability and performance.
  • Lead root cause analysis and structured problem-solving initiatives to eliminate recurring defects and losses.
  • Support process control, centerline management, and change management systems.
  • Drive product integrity, traceability, calibration, verification, and quality assurance programs.
  • Monitor pest and hygiene management programs and ensure compliance with standards.
  • Prepare and present process, quality, waste, and improvement reports.
  • Collaborate with Quality, Engineering, Production, Supply Chain, and Maintenance teams to deliver sustainable improvements.

Requirements

  • Diploma or Degree in Chemistry, Statistics, Engineering, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 3 years’ experience in a manufacturing environment, preferably FMCG or tobacco manufacturing.
  • Strong knowledge of manufacturing processes, quality management systems, and process control.
  • Experience in quality assurance, process analysis, troubleshooting, and continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Knowledge of Statistical Process Control (SPC), risk assessment, and data analysis techniques.
