Possession of a Journeyman Class 1 or 2 or 3
Ordinary level qualification
Must be able to work with minimum supervision.
Duties and Responsibilities
The successful candidate must fulfil the requirements below: Reading and interpreting plumbing drawings and diagrams Estimating materials and labour costs Maintaining tools and equipment
Keeping records of work performed and materials used
installing pipes, fixtures, and appliances Connecting water supply lines, drains, and vents Fitting and testing plumbing systems Installing heating and cooling systems Ensuring compliance with plumbing codes and regulations Working with other tradespeople, such as electricians and carpenters Communicating with site managers, supervisors, and clients Providing technical guidance and support Participating in site meetings and safety briefings Performing other tasks as directed by site managers or supervisors
