Applications are invited from suitably qualified and experienced persons for the below position that have arisen in the Maintenance department. The position is in the Harare division
PLUMBER
Responsible for installing, maintaining and repairing pipes & Fixtures associated with heating, cooling, water distribution and sanitation in structures within the division
- Responds quickly to breakdown call outs & conducts effective repairs at first visit.
- Interprets blueprints to establish layout of pipes, drainage systems and other plumbing fittings
- Detects needed repairs & upgrades through a well-articulated preventative maintenance programme.
- Sourcing and procurement of spares & equipment following the organizations purchasing procedures
- Maintaining accurate and updated records on all jobs done and spares procured & used.
- Any other duties as delegated from time to time.
Qualifications & Experience:
- Must have served a minimum of four years Apprenticeship or,
- Must have gone through a successful Trade Testing process
- National Certificate /Diploma in the relevant field
- Must have at least five years post-apprenticeship/trade testing experience
